yeah I was just thinking you look at the iMac or macbooks…what do they do now? make it thinner and smaller? that’s about it. Isn’t Johnathan Ives getting bored. at least with the first generation ibooks they had some visual flare to them. don’t we get to the point now where everything is looking alike. look at car design…every sedan looks almost identical. There has to be a radical departure there perhaps going back to fins and chrome? heck at least it would be more visually interesting.

Hollanders in Downtown Ann Arbor is a great store. While they have some things like you would find in Borders card and paper section, Hollanders offers products on a whole different “artisan” level, they also are a fine example of quality specialty retailing that is surviving in a very difficult retail environment.

Shephard Fairey is one of the most influential street artists ever. “André the Giant Has a Posse” sticker campaign is his memorable campaign which has now a cult following and is better known as “Obey the Giant” or just “OBEY”.

Yeah Shepard Fairey is so amazingly talented. One of my favorite designers along with Tyler Stout who does some stunning hand drawn movie posters. Check out his work as well.
